As an independent company, PWFT has been carrying out regular quality checks and tests on multi-blade shaving systems for several years. In addition to visual analyses and geometric measurements on statistically validated random samples, regular cutting ability measurements are carried out on individual blades, documented and the results fed back to the producers for continuous improvement.
By awarding the PWFT quality seal, the PWFT certifies the safety and performance of the razor blades through comprehensive testing and continuous monitoring. For example, the products of the ISANA (ROSSMANN) and OMBIA (ALDI SÜD) product families go through the continuous controls and are regularly tested and monitored.
The PWFT awards a seal of approval if the testing method adequately captures the tested characteristics with proven reproducibility and the sample tests do not show any unappropriate deviations from the defined specifications of the tested characteristics. This includes that the testing is carried out using technically recognised, carefully applied, reliable and reproducible methods.
Furthermore, to be awarded our quality seal requires that the findings obtained in the course of our quality control are incorporated into the process of continuous improvement of the products and contribute to the qualitative improvement of the products.
